Overview
STORII is a tool for taking a story from script to screen. StableState LLC offers it. By signing in you agree to these terms.
STORII is under construction. A few parts are not connected yet, and the guide says which. Use what works, and expect the rest to arrive.
What we collect
To let you in, we hold the email address you sign in with and short records of sign-in: a link that works once, a session, and counts that limit how often someone can ask for a link. Those counts use a scrambled form of the network address, not the address itself.
We do not collect your projects. They stay in your browser. The privacy page lists this in full.
How we use it
We use the sign-in records to decide whether to let you in, and to stop abuse of the sign-in page. We do not use them for anything else, and we do not sell them.
Accounts and sign-in
STORII is open to one email address at present. Keep your mailbox private, because the sign-in link opens STORII for whoever holds it. A link works once and expires in 10 minutes. A session lasts 7 days, and you can end it from Settings, on this device or on all of them.
Retention
Your projects are kept on your device, so there is nothing of them for us to keep. Sign-in records are kept only to run sign-in. StableState has not yet set how long they are held, and this section will state the period once it has.
Files sent for a cloud render are deleted by the render service when the film is delivered to your device, and in every case within two days of the render by a rule on the store itself. The finished film stays at the service only until your browser has fetched it, then it is cleared too.
Security
The sign-in cookie cannot be read by scripts, travels only over a secure connection, and is limited to STORII. Keys you add are locked with your passphrase on your device. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise it.
Your choices
Export a copy of any project whenever you like. Sign out from Settings. Clear your browser's site data to remove your projects from that browser. A way to ask for your sign-in records to be removed is not set up yet in this build.
